Suburban Vernacular

Steph Davidson's new genre artworks blow my mind. Not only is she our nation's preeminent animated GIFstress (cept she's Canadian), but her sculpture proposal "Disembodied Pizza Hut Roof" combines a shrewd eye for architectural vernacular and speaks to dumb pizzaheads like myself.



I've seen sculpture using isolated architectural elements before, and I like it...but it's not usually funny.
